Website Improvement

I have chosen several different things to modify about my website to improve it after having it evaluated by woorank.com. My changes include: adding a description, creating keyword consistency, text and HTML ratio, a custom 404 page, having a Google+ listing, being easier to share with social media, and creating a Twitter account. Overall woorank gave my website a score of 44.1. I’m excited to see what the change will be after these changes have been implemented.

These are my top ten social media sites that I’ve considered opening profiles for to expand my web business:

Overall, I think I will begin with a Tumblr account. I already have a facebook page and a pinterest account so I want to start somewhere new. My coworker is super into Tumblr so I will have somebody I know that can help me out with any questions or confusion I have over the website. My plan make Tumblr part of my online business is as follows:

Tumblr:

1. Open an account
2. Find people to follow
3. Add content
4. Create posts that will post automatically: daily, weekly, etc
5. Mention those people I follow within those posts to get more people talking about my content
6. Repost content worthy of it from other people- many people in turn will repost my content creating more and more links
7. Become a resource of information to have more people follow me
8. Offer giveaways fours times a year at random.
9. Create suspense by announcing the giveaway a couple days ahead of time.
10. Reward those who like, share, and comment on my posts.
